conclusion!!!
I know it has been stated several times before but Nannie Doss was not found out until the murder of her fifth husband and eleventh victim. When she was the only suspect in the murder, she was questioned by the policed until she finally squealed. They had told her that they knew it was her but all she did was giggle. For the first few hours, ALL she did was giggle. That is how she received the nicknames "The Giggling Granny" and the "Jolly Widow." In the end, she decided that it was no use and confessed to not only Sam's murder but to the others as well.
After being ruled sane enough to stand trial, she went to the court. Nannie plead guilty and received life in prison. She was going to be given the death penalty but since she was a woman it was not allowed. Prison is where Nancy Hazle went and where Nancy Hazle died.
She stayed in the Oklahoma State penitentiary until she passed away of leukemia in 1965.
